In the middle of the year, some vendors will launch their best products to the world.
There was Asus that already officially launched three ZenFone 3 series, the basic one, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and the big screen, ZenFone 3 Ultra. The specs are very interesting. The basic one uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with two RAM option and internal storage, 32 GB with 3 GB of RAM, or 64 GB with 4 GB of RAM. The Deluxe version is even better.
ZenFone 3 Deluxe uses the flagship chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 820 with two RAM option, 4 GB to 6 GB, just wow man! wow! 6 GB on a smartphone is just, ironic actually. The screen is bigger than the basic version, 5.7 inches compared to 5.5 inches on the basic. All of the ZenFone 3 series use same resolution but different features/ quality.
If you are a multimedia maniac, then the Ultra version is probably the best for you, and me too. With 6.8 inches screen, you will be very happy with the viewing, especially because the performance is also quite impressive, thanks to Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 which is a mid-class SoC right now. The storage starts from 32 GB to 128 GB. You can choose the 256 GB storage option from Deluxe version by-the-way. The RAM option is 3-4 GB only.
Next is OnePlus One 3 that will be launch in the next couple days. This high-end affordable phone probably will be in two option, the flagship and the cheaper version. We already know about the specs anyway. The flagship will use Snapdragon 820 and 4 GB of RAM with 5.5 inches screen.
Next is coming from the Korean giant company. Samsung will launch the next generation of Galaxy Note series. The name is still not sure whether it will be Note 6 or Note 7, I personally prefer Galaxy Note 7. It will make the phone has better number and we will be easier to compare with the S lines. As we know, Note series is one year behind the S series.
As for other vendors, let say Sony, they start to open the sale or pre-order for their Xperia X series. The price is a little bit higher than other rivals but for some people, it’s just okay.
Don’t forget about the next gen of Nexus!
As the rumor said, the HTC will make the successor. But very recently, there was a rumor about the next Nexus that will be manufactured by Huawei again. We still don’t know for sure about that.
Last but not least, there is Apple that will also launch their next iPhone, probably the iPhone 7 in the next couple months after all of their rivals launched. Based on some rumors and leaks, the design is not much changed from previous gen as they told us that they will change a major design of iPhone every 3 years so the major change of iPhone will be in 2017. The antenna lines are moving to the top of the back cover, still there. I don’t understand how Asus already capable of removing the antenna lines for their ZenFone 3 Deluxe and Ultra.
At least we have more than 5 new high-end smartphones on this middle of the year. I personally cannot wait for the Galaxy Note 6/7, I love the S-Pen. What about you guys?!
