Last couple months, Sony announced new series, the X, X Performance, and XA series. Though Sony said that those are mid-class phones, the price is quite controversial.

Now we are talking other Sony’s phones in this mid of year. The Xperia XA Ultra officially available to pre-orderĀ in some countries especially the UK. It brings large screen, 6.0 inch. The design is quite similar with the regular XA.

The other two are the successor of Xperia C and E series. Based on the benchmark leak, Sony will launch what so called Xperia C6 and E5 soon enough.

The Xperia C6 probably still concern on the camera sector especially the selfie camera. As for the E5, it will be the choice for entry-level phone from Sony. The price probably will quite as close as the previous E series.

The C6 uses smaller screen compared with the previous gen. Both C6 and E5 will use 4.6 inch screen with FHD and HD resolution. The C6 equipped by MediaTek Helio SoC, same with E5 that also use MediaTek SoC but with much more regular type.

Sure both C6 and E5 will uses Android 6.0 marshmallow as standard.

If we look closer, the most interesting from Xperia XA Ultra is the front camera which is equipped with OIS or optical IS. It will helps us to take clear and superb selfie photo or video. Not only that, the front camera also has autofocus and LED Flash. Those feature of XA Ultra can make this phone as one of the best selfie camera phone right now.

The Xperia X series now still focus on specific market only. In other countries especially developing countries, there are no news or leaks about Xperia X series launch time. We are maybe not understand how Sony will run the mobile division this year. I still hope Sony will make big innovation to attract consumer. I always love Sony, but for the mobile phone, I just don’t understand about several things.

Come on Sony, make brilliant moves this year. Where is the next Z?

Well, actually I already attracted to that Xperia XA Ultra anyway.
